I have truly been blessed with the privilege of being able to serve in a wonderful church and community. I heard a man give his definition of what being "called" into the ministry meant, he said if you can do anything else and be happy then you haven’t been called. I was called into the ministry in 1992 and love it more today than I ever have. I  married my best friend (Dana) in 1990 and we have a daughter (Anna) they both are a great encouragement to me and our ministry.

I look forward to being a part of what God is doing in the lives of the people of St. Clair county.

Learning Center Director

Lauren Kelley

I live in Odenville with my husband Laramie and our beautiful daughter. We are active members of Calvary Baptist Church and I am a graduate of Auburn University. While attending college I had the privilege of working underneath the director at Auburn Christian Academy for several years. After graduation I took a job as an Event Coordinator at The Club in Birmingham. After 5 years I realized that God had a different plan for my life and he led me back to my original passion, childcare. My goal as Director is to provide a safe and loving environment for your child while teaching them the skills they need to start school and sharing the love of Christ with them daily.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." -Philippians 4:6-7

I am happily married to my wonderful husband Jason. We are members of Calvary Baptist Church and live in Ashville, Alabama with our three girls, Madelynn, Claire, and Mary-Ava and our little french bulldog Lovey.  I attended Jefferson State Community College and also Gadsen State. I have 19 years experience with Early Child Care. As Director my goal is to provide a nurturing environment, a learning environment, but most importantly share Christ love each day with your child. I consider it a blessing and a calling to work here at CLC
